Defying classic forms, the Cone armchair is a design UFO. Imagined in 1958 by Verner Panton, its purpose was to equip the restaurant of his parents' hotel located in Denmark. Soon meeting with success, the model was put into production and became, a few years later, a flagship piece of the twentieth century.
Intended for everyday use, the Cone armchair is comfortable. It consists of an upholstered shell attached to a stainless steel swivel underframe. Its geometric, almost futuristic shape envelops us and transports us back to the sixties. This state of mind is moreover reinforced by the pop tones of the upholstery: orange, red or purple.
The Cone armchair is ideal to create a singular decoration. Accompanied by the coffee table from the same collection, this seat will elegantly furnish a VIP lounge or a relaxation area. As imagined by its creator, mix colors to stimulate the eye… and encourage dialog.
