Designed by Oskar Zieta
Inspired by the technologies of the automotive industry, the Chippensteel chair was born of a crazy idea of its creator, the Polish Oskar Zieta. The latter applied a process called FIDU, whose objective is to inflate the metal by giving it a precise shape. This innovation is for the first time used in the creation of a piece of furniture.
Both light and strong, the steel chair then takes on the appearance of a helium-filled balloon... playing on the eye not unlike the works of visual artist Jeff Koons, known for his monumental inflatable structures.
The Chippensteel chair is a design piece in its own right, which will dress in an original way an event venue: VIP space, fashion showroom or art gallery.
