Designed by Philippe Starck
By conceiving the Venice model, designer Philippe Starck pays a symbolic tribute to the city of Venice. Inspired by the classic style of the chairs of the time, he revisited the atmosphere of the historic Venetian cafes: comfort, conviviality and softness of life. The Venice chair can be used both indoors and outdoors, as if to mark its southern origins.
This chair edited by Kartell, is characteristic of the collection. It is designed in color-injected polycarbonate for a bright and shiny rendering. It is in fact this material effect that brings all the modernity to this chair with rather sober and elegant lines. If
the Venice chair is popular for the layout of a restaurant, it can also be imagined in a configuration alone, behind a desk or as a decorative piece.
