In Holland, a “polder” refers to the artificial stretch of land created over the sea thanks to the use of seawalls and drainage trenches.The body of the Polder sofa is just as low and flatHella Jongerius chose for his sofa five perfectly harmonised combinations of colours and qualities of fabrics, to which she gives relief thanks to a high-tech wire and large buttons in natural materials.
